Default odometer not working...

I have a 98 trans am that his been sitting since 2003 with no battery, I just put a new battery in the car and the odometer does not display any numbers but the backlight works. It sat inside the garage and under a car cover most of the time. The stock stereo is also not powering on at all but everything else seems to work...any ideas??? Thanks in advance!!!

Check all the fuses no radio op is a dead giveaway or a sign of direction to start troubleshooting. PCM has no control over the ODO it all internal to the cluster.
