Default Help removing Monsoon stereo deck

Hi,

I was just out in my car trying to remove the Monsoon stereo deck, but for some reason I can't seem to get the right side of it to come out all the way. Like a wire is getting caught.

The left side goes just fine (the side with the screen).

Any advice or help? I could see that it was being caught on this metal piece that looks like it holds the deck from going back to far...

If you have small enough hands/wrists try squeezing in behind the glovebox from underneath to feel around. I was doing this the other day messing with my DRL module.

Thats a good idea! I was looking for a way to reach back there... I'll give that a try, any other suggestions?

Do I need to take off the Glove box door/container?

Pull the ac controls out a little and stick your hand through the hole to lift the wiring harness off the head unit support bracket.
