Default 1 12" sub in trunk?

Is one 12" sub going to sound good in the trunk? 2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Ram Air. Pointed up at the back glass.

I have a 12" in mine and it sounds good. Not really "loud" though, then again it was when I first got it and didn't have a sub before.

I had a single 12 inch ported box and it was loud inside and it was good enough for me just to heavy the box and sub weighed in at 43 lbs

I have a single 12" in a sealed box on the back "shelf" (pointed up) and it sounds good. Its only about 300W RMS, but the speakers and such will distort way before it does.

It is pretty heavy, but (at the time) it was just my DD, with an occasional autocross. On those occasions, it only takes about 3 minutes to take out, since the amp is attached.

I have a sub that will sound ridiculous in the rear of your TA. 12" Hertz ML3000 Perfect for SQ and SPL.
