Metra 44-PW22 Power Antenna

I ordered this because the antenna in my TA is stuck is the up position. Does anyone know if I have to order a apecial GM adapter for the cable or will the stock antenna cable plug into this unit?

The antenna wire at the back of the car is the standard-size connector. An aftermarket antenna should plug in just fine.
