Default New door speakers help

I've got a blown pass door speaker and came across some infinity speakers to replace stock with. When I got to replacing them, I noticed the stock didn't say which went to tweeter and which to woofer. One side has red and solid black, the other has red and black/red wires. How do I know which goes to what on the new ones without the stock being labeled and tracing it? Help?

Check the sticky threads, there's a chart that lists wire colors, it was there for trans ams anyway.

Checked the stickies and they don't give the red and black colors, they give different colors? Anyone else run into this, I really don't think this is after market wiring i'm dealing with....

Just look farther back in the harness and you'll find the colors from the FAQ sticky. You're looking at a red/black pigtail that's on the end of the harness.

I replaced my door speakers with a compent Polk Audio set a few months ago, I just followed the wires through the speaker and its pretty easy to see which ones run through to the tweeter.

I believe the wires for the tweeter were on the top, and the woofer wires on the bottom, but I don't remember the colors. I've still got the speakers and I could go check if you need.

I'm looking at the speakers I pulled out, and both the tweeter and woofer wires are red and black/red (none are solid black). If I'm holding the speaker so i can read the text on the back, the tweeter wires are on top (which is the same direction they are mounted in the car).

PM me your email address and I can send you some pictures if you'd like. I dont know how much help they'd be though.
