Default 2 Single DINs in a 4th Gen Camaro

Has anyone ever seen or installed 2 single DINs in a 4th Gen Camaro? I'm trying to figure out what I'd have to do the install in my car. The reason I don't want a double DIN is because I have a single DIN head unit that I like a lot and I want to install an in-dash flip out monitor also.

I'm pretty sure that Dennis at Double D Mods could make the bezel, if I give him the dimensions of the 2 stacked together, assuming there is enough space, he said the double DIN bezel is a 3 7/8" opening. Unfortunately, I don't have the monitor to do the measurement, since I don't want to buy one unless I know it will fit. Then there's the question of how to mount the 2 single DINs, since there is not an adapter kit that is made for a setup like that, right?

so why wouldnt you just have the flip out be your primary? i guess i just dont get why you would want both since the flip out would already do all that?

There are a lot of flip out monitor/head units, that are both in one unit The ones I'm looking at are a head unit and a monitor, separately.

i get what your saying, but why have a cd player and dvd player seperate? why wouldnt you just buy a flip out dvd player that plays cd's as well?? it would make your life ALOT easier

for example:

I like the sound, user interface, etc. of my head unit. But you're right, it would be a lot easier to just pick up one similar to the one in the Crutchfield link.
