Default Driver's side window flipped me the bird.

At the track. In the staging lanes. I rolled the window down while waiting in the staging lane. Got near to the front of the line and tried to roll it up. It didn't move or make a sound. I shut the ignition off, turned it back on, fiddled w/ the button for a bit and it went up. I later tried to roll the window down and it refused. I assume the switch went bad considering I was able to fiddle w/ it and get it to work. I have wanted to make both windows auto down and auto up. Are there any switches available that will let me do that? The windows have also been slow to go up and down, isn't there a kit that improves that? I figure if I have to take the door apart to fix this, I might as well tighten the whole thing up.

very common issue that's fairly easy to fix. best bet is to replace the motors, especially if your pulling things apart. I just did mine a couple weeks ago. if you do a quick search you'll find a bunch of info on it. I don't know about making the pass window auto down but I don't think there is an easy way to do it.

No. The radio is working fine.

I checked out the autotrix kits. $130 a side, yikes! Their kit only gives you auto down though. I would like auto up also. I have had it on rental cars and it is really nice. Has anyone used the switches out of a different car to give them auto down and auto up on both windows? I don't imagine I am the first one to want this feature.

if you go to an aftermarket alarm that has window control (where you can use the remote to roll up or down the windows) you will get auto up and auto down on both, or atleast I did on one of my old cars that I had it on.

I found this a long time ago and never did the mod, I may just do it if / when I ever replace the window motors. why not, just another mod? http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody/expresswindow.htm
