Default Are aftermarket headlights self do-able?

I just bought some aftermarket headlights from CARiD. They say it's just a bolt-on installation, but I've read that you need a professional.

So my question is. Do you need a professional installation? Or am I able to do it myself?

Thanks.

Do you know how to use a screwdriver?

Then you don't need a "professional"

I said the same thing pretty much, couldn't figure out why it would require a professional. Hahaha

1. Because they have to say it since it's technically a safety device. (So you can see at night.)

2. Because they should be professionally aligned so you don't wind up blinding oncoming drivers.

If you know what you're doing and how to align the lights, you can do it yourself.

If you are just replacing the lamps themselves then no alignment is necessary. The housing is the part that gets aligned and the housing doesn't move when replacing lamps.
