Has anyone done a double din with an "Installation kit" as a bezel? I've been wondering if something like this would work.....
Not necessarily this exact piece, but one like this that has a bezel:
Cut the factory bezel enough to get the 2 din radio in, then putting the bezel of the installation kit flush with the factory trans am (or camaro) bezel??

You don't need to buy a mounting kit if you are installing a Double-Din.
Trim the dash opening.
Make brackets to mount the headunit.
Trim or replace the bezel.
What you do need is the wiring harness adapter. Which is sold separately.
