So my wife got me a gopro hero 3.What accessories is a must have?What mounts are good to safely mount to my car without fallung off?

I use the suction cup mount, and as long as you secure it to a non plastic surface and make sure its clean you should be fine. I've had my camera fall off a few times at speed and the only thing that suffered was the enclosure from falling. Everything still worked just fine.

Where did you get the suction cup and what kind is it?

i believe any store that sells the gopro sells the suction cup mount, ive taken my suction cup mount to 150mph with no issues.

worst case buy it online

LCD backpack (screen) Lets you see what youre shooting and you can see your pics/vids with it.

I ended up using one of the sticky mounts on the top center of the windshield. That way it captured the front part of the hood (Ram Air) and got the passing view. Ive had no issues with it being up there and I use the remote to record and switch to still shots. Also, like the LCD screen, the extra battery pack is well worth it.

I'm gonna have to check into that lcd screen.I saw it scrolling threw accessories.

I think i paid $80 for it but its worth it if you use it alot
