Four wire front speaker question

Four wire front speaker question I have an alpine coaxial 2 way speaker system, can I split the wires on the speaker to use them in the four wire set-up. Thanks for your help

potentially the wrong speaker impedance (ohms) and the chance, depending on the exact speaker you have of actually exceeding the rms of the speaker (unlikely but potentially possible).
the factory camaro doors use a 2 ohm "woofer" and a 4 ohm tweeter, if your maintaining the factory amp then you want to try to match that or you risk screwing up your sound stage.
