Default Running power wire for amp.
Is the best route to run the wire still through the passenger side firewall rubber seal? Or has someone come up with a better route?

I can't imagine that any new holes have opened up in the firewall of 12-year-old and older cars except maybe from rust.

Then I seriously doubt there are any new holes through the firewall that you could use to pass a power cable through. You're probably stuck with the one under the PCM.

Still the best spot...make sure you seal it up after you run it though...I had water leaking in through the hole until I sealed it back up tight....
