Default Automatic antenna problems

I have a 2000 camaro ss with an automatic antenna that goes up and keeps trying to go up. I am sick and tired of this antenna and need to get rid of it and was looking at the shorty antenna's or just removing it and getting the antenna delete. Cheapest way is obviously the shorty antenna but I don't know if i can just order it online cause you still need all the other stuff inside the quarter panel like the wire to go to the radio and the rubber thing and the threaded thing. I need help with this and some sites would be great.

Eventually I want to remove it altogether and go for the shaved look
