Default Power Pass thru Firewall Location?

Hi All,

I'm installing the Autotrix window fix on the driver's side. The instructions show that I have to route the positive power feed wire thru the rubber grommet behind the PCM in the engine compartment. I'm looking for a shorter route to the battery stud on the driver's side. Can someone please tell me where is a good place to get through the firewall on the driver's side?
Thanks,
John

The grommet on the right side is the best option. You could try going through with the main electrical connector or the steering column on the driver's side but both present challenges and risks. Or you could drill your own hole and install a grommet but you have to be careful when drilling not to hit anything important. Generally, it's better to just use more wire.

The grommet below and behind the engine computer is your best option.. thats where I ran my 1/0 gauge power wire for my battery.

Ok, it sounds like the grommet behind the computer is the way to go.
Thanks!
