Default No Drip Guards

Will this hurt anything? I hardly ever have the car out in the rain, but I do wash it alot! I am running around a 7 inch midrange in the door along w/ a tweeter mounted separately. I know I could get some of those foam baffles from crutchfield and make some. Just wondering though! Thanks.

I know I'd prefer to have some kind of a drip guard in place. You have to figure, if any water gets past the rubber weatherstripping it will be dripping right on your speaker.

Can't you modify it and make it fit? I've got Adire Koda 6's in my doors, it just took a little trimming with a dremel.
