Default Opinions on these HU's.....

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-xdyfmbk...VD=on&x=25&y=1

I'm looking for opinions on these Head Units as well as suggestions about any comparable HUs.
Obviously I'm looking for a screen display.
Navigation is a nice treat but not totally necessary.
My main format of music is MP3 so that's a must.

Thanks for the help.

I havea few buddies that work at audio shops and both of them have the Pioneer AVIC-N1. It is DVD/CD/Voice Command Navigation, and it also gives you your mph, slope, and some other vehicle dynamics. If I were to buy on and I almost did but I went with a cd player and a seperate monitor but still might I would buy the Pioneer AVIC-N1. It also has a rear view camera option and the camera is liek 120 bucks or so. It also has split screen NAVI/DVD DVD/Rearview and etc. I think they go normally for like $1700 give or take. Save for this one and you wont be sorry. Check out www.thezeb.com for some decent deals!

I pefer Alpine myself. I have used Eclipse, Alpine, Pioneer, and Kenwood and Alpine always gave me the best sound and was the easiest to use. As well as no one can match their skip protection. But Alpine is alittle more than its competitors. But you get what you pay for. Going cheap can sometimes cost you twice as much trying to get it right.
