Default Pioneer 7500 Vs Alpine 7" flip out Monitor reviews?

Sup, this week Im lookin' to buy a In dash 7" flip out. I need opinions on brands. My choice is the Pioneer AVH-P7500. I also heard good about the Alpine but I messed with a IVA-300 and it was confusing and didnt impress me. kenwood design just looked to busy/crazy for me nowadays! How do all the screen clarity/features match up? Im really leaning to the Pioneer. Im looking to spend $1500-$1600 and prob purchase it online from a store. Pioneer 7500: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...734165413&rd=1 Alpine IVA-D900: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...734262944&rd=1 PS Im not buyin' em on EBAY was just to show features Thanx! Also is pioneer replacing the 7500? When will new models be out?

I personally have seen the best luck with pioneers. A few years back it seemed like the preset buttons on the alpines wore out quickly. Paying big $$$ for the buttons to wear out is not my thing. Both are excellent dont get me wrong but I have had the best luck with pioneers.

go to Ikesound.com and check them out. They have the Pioneer for 1599. They may sell it to you cheaper. Call and talk to Anthony.

Dude I am a dealer and its hard to swallow when I see them sell some thing below what I can get it for. Sometimes if my distributor is out of stock on something I will use Ikesound.

I think Ikesound only has the AVIC N1? Full Force since ur a dealer what unit do you like better the Pioneer AVH P7500, or the Alpine 900 or 901? Im really leanin' towards the Pioneer. Has 5.1 and lots of features Thanks guys!

I have not sold either one. Mobile electronics sales and installation is my side business so I dont sell as much as a major chain. Very few people have a head unit that retails for 2 grand. If you wanted an opinion on CD players I could help you because I move alot of them but I dont sell Alpine.

What I can tell you from what Ive seen in person is that Panasonic has one of the nicest pictures.

I have the IVA-900 in my car.the picture quality is supposed to be the best of all in the 900 and 901.the iva-300 is neat but quality suffers.the pineer looks good but I have not seen it my car so can not give you to much input on it.the 900 looks awsome plays great and gives you loads of additional inputs for cd changers, navigation, mobile hub unit, rear camera, etc.

I currently have the P7500, Navigation, Pioneer DVD changer, with 12 Disc CD changer, being that I competed in IASCA for several years and judged IASCA sound quality events for 6 years on top of that I have seen a lot of equipment. The pioneer is by far the best head unit out there in regards to reliablity, functionality, and ease of use. I do not like the AVIC-N1, because it does not allow the connection of the Navigation piece as it is built in, why is this a problem, because you cannot have the nav disc and a dvd loaded up at the same time, and to use the nav piece, you have to pick a route to somewhere then take out the nav disc if you want to play a dvd, as with the one I have, the nav is loaded and working all the time.

Hope this helps in your selection choice.

I had the pioneer 7480 dvd. I had problems with the screen flickering due to a cable problem that I heard pioneer was having with that unit. As far as my opinion...I loved the look and the user interface part, great graphics, eq sucks a$$ bad (meaning when I want to just change one frequency I want just one not 3). I hope they fixed this in the 7500 model.

I have had both kenwood and pioneer touch screens. Last time I checked, alpine didn't have the touch screen. They are behind.

Pioneer 7500 is an excellent peice. I went with that if you are running a stereo system. It will allow you to adjust everything.

The avic n1 is sweet too. However, it lacks in features to the 7500. Second, the n1 is only 6.5 inches and not 7. However, you have to buy the nav module and player for the 7500. The n1 is included so it's a toss up.

third, the 7500 will not be replaced. They are sticking to the n1. Too bad, I think pioneer is making a mistake on that. They are known for their audio, not the navigation, hehe.

You will like them all. Check on the alpine, I'm not sure they have brought out their touch screens yet. This is why I bought the pioneer.

I had the kenwood high end first.

take note:
the kenwood supports the dvd+R media

the pioneer uses the dvd-r media

Alpine I am not sure since it didn't have the touch screen.
