Maybe - the parts list shows 96-02 use the same part number but 93-95 use a different number. It's quite possible that the 93-95 part number supercedes to the newer number but you'd have to check with a dealer to be sure.

if your thinking of buying a remote off of ebay and it working right out of the box, then your gonna have problems. i ordered one for a 00 T/A and i have to go the a dealership to have it coded for my car. i did what it says in the book to reset the remote but it didn't work. i'm not saying it's a bad deal and not to do it. all i'm saying is that you might have to go to a dealership to have yours done like mine or it could work for you. i don't know. i'll let you know how much it cost (or if it doesn't) when i go to have mine done.

I have replaced a remote for my 00 T/A and the programming procedure in the owner's manual works fine. The dealer is just going to do the same procedure. Just make sure you get the correct remote for your car.
