Default Alpine CDA-9835 vs. 55

im currently looking to upgrade my T/A sound system. Im getting a JL audio sub for bass, so thats taken care of. For a HU, im debating whether to get the Alpine CDA-9835 or the 55. The 35 has 26 watts RMS per channel, and i dunno much about the wiring of the monsoon system, so would the high power HU benifit me at all? The 55 only has 18rms. I may completely rewire my system much later down the road, but I dunno and am planning for now.

As for the power on the HU's. The difference between 18 and 26 rms is a little bit. Look more at features 1st and the power second.

Also seach around in here for HU swaps. There have been a few covered within the last week. Probable 4-6 on the 1st 2 pages.
