Default what amp for 2 12w3v2 jl subs???

im lookin for a mono amp....i was looking at the mtx 801d amp...thunder amp...

any suggestions

what are the max and RMS power ratings for those subs? not too familiar with specifications of JL stuff..

How about a jbl bp600. you can get for abot $200 shipped and will move those jl''s like a ****.

one route is the JL 500/1 (monoblock). Im usin this amp to power my 2 12w3v2's (D4)and it SLAPS!! This can be a bit pricey....an alternative might be a Rockford Fosgate T10001bd. This rockford amp pushes out 500W RMS @ 4 ohms. Assuming you have the 12w3v2-D4....versus the D2 or D6. If you wire the voicecoils in series and wire the subs in parallel..you should have no problems.

by the way...with the jl 500/1 amp...it'll pound so much it'll make your nose hairs vibrate!!! if thats what you want..
