You can get some sound dampener material at Home Depot. Big price difference, and does about the same job. Personally I would rather have a sheet of it than spray it on. Just my $.02

For your licence plate, I would definately use a small sheet rather than the spray. Just my $.02
If you really want dynamat, I may be able to cut you off a sheet. But it would be much quicker to just buy a licence plate kit. You don't have to put the stupid frame on....
