rear hatch speakers not working

Default rear hatch speakers not working

i noticed that my pass. side rear hatch 4'' speaker and tweeter are not working, speakers are ok, i switched them with the driver side ones. and got nothing,
what else can i check? btw this is a monsoon system with a clerion head unit.

my guess would be they arent hooked up to the head unit ?

hmm, i thought the were hooked up to the amp, ill check that tomorrow, thanks, any other ideas?

Those speakers are powered by the factory HU.

if youc ant get them to work, just run some wire from your middle speakers to the rear. Itll work like a champ.

The sail panel speakers only play low frequencies and are powered by the amp. If you hook up the hatch speakers to these several things will happen. You'll change the impedance the amp sees. And since the amp only sends low freqs to those speakers, you'll get no highs.

A pointless option IMO.

ok, so the amp runs the hatch speakers, that means the amp could be bad??
i noticed a 4'' speaker and tweeter there, but i think only the 4'' speaker is hooked up to the amp, and the tweeter to the h.u
does this make any sense?
