How would that work with the slim ps2, since the lid lifts up instead of slides out? If you could get the DVD drive out of a regular ps2 that the tray slides in and out that would probably work but on the slim ones, it lifts up. I would mostly use it for games though, since the flip out screen would be a DVD player as well obviously.

Well, you have have a habit of leaving important information out. I don't play games myself so I'm not real familiar with them, but I assumed it was the big tray load PS2.

So you want to install the slim PS2, right? Then there's no way it would mount under the radio because you would not be able to get the discs in or out.

Well, I found a pic of the CD tray.

You might be able to mount the body in the dash if you can access all the connectors in the front and put the laser in a box in the glove compartment. I think the front connectors will be blocked though.

What do you need up front?
DVD drive, controllers, power switch, etc..?

I'm sure there's a way to do it. Try asking a local installer who's done them before in SUV's. I'm sure he would know about the inverters, extending the buttons on the PS2, etc...

If I come up with any good ideas, I'll let you know.

PS. What are the dimensions of the unit?

Default Here is the system I have....94 Camaro Z-28

Car Name is "Thumper" for a good reason

1600 Total Watts
2-PPI DCX-500.1's Sub Amps
1-PPI DCX-600.4 Mid and Tweet Amp
2- Kicker CVX12D2
Alpine IVA-D310 DVD/CD/AM/FM (Coming Soon)
This system also has some extra's of Audio Control, epicenter, lightning Audio,Streetwires and many more to make a competition system at it level
Been able to get a SPL Level without teaking so far as of 132 DB....agree it needs alot more work to reach it's ability.

metered in the low 140's on a term lab, but it was nothing next to this guys https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...ld-camaro.html that I sat in right before getting mine metered on the same meter while I was down there on vacation.

My rear seat box is up for sale to anyone close enough to drive to me.
