Default Sub enclosure (need help)

Well i just got this 99 camaro and i tried searching for a box that i would like and havn't found anything. Anyone have any suggestions on where to get a box that will allow me to keep my spare tire and my T-top holders? I've been thinking about taking my back seat out and doing something like i saw a guy with a TA do but put subs in it. I have 2 JLW2's with a Rockford 501s (i think that's it) amp. I'm not really wanting to show off anything or build a competition style stereo. I just want something to sound good.

Any suggestions?

If you wanted to go with something smaller and not have to worry about getting to your spare tire you could go with something like a JL stealth box.
You can take a look at it in this thread, it's the secound pic.

I really do like that one, my dilema is that i already had the big amp and the 2 JL's. I want to eventually get a JL amp as well, maybe i'll just get one to power one of the 10s and put the other 10 in the 69 camaro. Do you think the JL stealth box with 1 10W2 would be enough to make a nice balanced system.

it depends on how hard you want it to hit man, for most people 1 sub is enough, I listen to just about all kinds of music, and when I listen to rap or R&B, I like that **** to hit hard, most often you cant do that with 1 smaller sub.

The T-Top box isn't hard ot get in and out, for the most part it bolts right in, and it's good for storage of the t-tops to!

It's the box I ordered, but it is kind of expensive.

Yea it is kinda expensive. Also had a question. If i were to run 1 sub what kinda JL amp should i get? Could i still use the RK amp for now? (says 1800 watts on the front and it's a 2 channel amp). I'm pretty new to stereo stuff...

I would run a jl audio 250\1 , nice amp. I have a jl stealthbox w 1 10 and you would be surprised how loud it is. It is plenty enough. I have a small alpine on mine. Go on ebay to look for a stealthbox or a 250\1, best bet. The construction of the jl box is far superior than others.

I just remembered a buddy of mine is a stereo builder in fort collins. I will most likely go with the stealth box but he's suggested a deck, components and amp for me. Thanks for the replies! That box looks like just what i need
