Default 200 amp alternator is in!!!!!

after the underdrive crank pulley I finally came to the conclusion that my stock alternator would not hold up to my 2000w RMS system and all the accessopry loads IE high speed fans, ac, headlights, neons,ect.. so i got with NATHAN OF WWW.EXCESSIVEAMPERAGE.COM he built me a 200 amp alternator that ******* rocks..i litterally cant beat this thing up no matter what accessory load i throw at it ..its really nice to idle at 15.5 volts now, as a matter of fact its ******* amazing beyond that nathan is a really nice guy who went out of his way to fix my alternator after i incorrectly installed it and blew it up(dont ask it was a really dumb *** move on my part)

THE POINT OF ALL THIS IS I SPENT A WHILE LOOKING FOR JUST THIS TYPE OF SERVICE\PRODUCT WHEN MY ALTERNATOR WENT OUT... SO IF YOU FIND YOUR SELF NEEDING A NEW H.O. ALTERNATOR CONTACT NATHAN @ WWW.EXCESSIVEAMPERAGE.COM (334-712-9955) HE BUILDS BOMB *** ALTERNATORS AND THEIR CHEEP AS HELL ($285 SHIPPED)

O YEA AND DONT HOOK EM UP BACKWARDS IT REALLY SUCKS IF YA DO

excessiveamperage is famous for very good quality alternators for cheap.

if you're looking for a more off the shelf product, www.mralternator.com would do.

ok let me clarify and update this when i first crank the car and its ideling at 900-1000 rpms i pull 15.6v but after its warmed up and im sitting at a stoplight with the brakes on im only ideling at 600-700 rpms and thats just a tiny bit low for the alternator to click on had i either kepth the stock crank or upped the rpms by 200-300 id be fine 100% of the time but in any case its still all good even if im not charging at stoplights beacouse when my engine is 300 rpms higher that bitch clicks on and wonce its on and i mean barely on (ie 100rpms) its giving a hell of a charge, more than enough to supply every imagineable accessory and still have room to charge the battery.. eventually when i do my fm14 cam and heads im gonna bump the idle up a bt anaway so it will all work out ... but for now im very very pleased before this i was pulling 10v with the system up

thats not bad at all. so if the alt. charges around 900rpms with the stock pulley, where do you set the idle with a UD pulley? and is your pulley 10% or 25% underdrive?

25% underdrive crank and overdrive alt pulley is what im current ly using as of now my car likes to idle at 600-700 rpms so ill just bump it up another 200-300 when i do my cam tune
