Default Air bag light?

Is it normal for the air bag warning light to blink a couple seconds longer than all the other warning lights at start up? I know my car had light front damage before I bought it, so I'm concerned that there may be something wrong with the air bags now.

That would be considered normal. The light is indicating the SIR system is performing a self-test during startup. You should only be concerned if: A: it flashes and then stays on; or B: it doesn't come on at all.
