Are you talking isolator or pressuer transducre-transmitter/sending unit. Most pick up off of the lh fuel rail, schreader valve fitting.

Well let me start from scratch...

If I wanted to a fuel pressure gauge in my car, how would I go about doing this?

Well most go with the elect type. Which use a the gauge and pressuer transducer and electricl interface unit.
Sender is attatched to the fuel rail or pressuer source. Which in turn is electricaly hooked up to the interface unit. Then the gague is mounted with in the cab and then hooked up to the interface unit as well. Which give you your fuel prs reading with out sending any type of fuel in to the cab.

There is also a mechanical setup but it uses a isolator inplace of a electrcal interface unit. They are a bit cheaper, but not as easy to install and deal with. I might be wrong there.

Here is a shot of my transducer mounted on the end of the drivers fuel rail.

The interface unit is mounted under with the gauge in the A piller 3 pod.

Ohh, I would imagine the interface is pretty small then. Would you happen to have a pic of the interface? Thanks for the help!!

No I dont, but it is about the size of a deck of cards. Some will even come with a
Hi-Lo record feature.
