which one fits in our cars? i've got 2 amps running, so if i need the yellow top, thats cool. price isnt really a concern. is a red top sufficient?

The yellow top runs a deeper cell. So if you are powering alot of electronics, get the yellow one.

i'll be running a 500.2 PG tantrum, and 200.2 PG xenon amp, as well as the headunit ofcourse. not sure if that constitutes "alot of electronics" or not?

which one fits though? on the optima site it talks about some 'height extender' or some **** for it to fit in our cars? does it have something to do with the thing that's bolted down to keep the battery in place?

I used to have the red top in my old T/A. Didn't need any height extender. If I was you, I'd get the yellow top.

Out of the two (red/yellow) the yellow is a bigger battery but is also heavier
They have a blue one out thats marine/deep cycle although I havent seen any in cars.

I recommend gel cells for car audio but they cost more.
