Why? What do expect that to do for you?

why ask why to a question? i am looking for suggestions because i'm looking into purchasing a preamp voltage booster because the preout voltage is lower then i'd like it to be. the advertised 5volts is more around 2 volts and i'd like to get it closer to 8 if possible.

if anyone has a suggestion on a brand of preamp booster then let me know or something similar. thanks.

What you need is called a line driver. Alot of companies make them, just get it from a reputable company and you will be fine. This would be my suggestion:

The overdrive and the matrix are both good choices.

PG makes a good one (TLD66)to boost voltage to 8. This Cadence is also a great line driver http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=1278

Do you really think you need one though?
