I would love to see some photos along with modification write ups from people whom have done or have had done a dual/double din install please.

Yes, I know that we have 1.5 dins. I want to see custom installs of double din's.

isnt my car.. the guy who did it said it was a minimal amount. then he just smoothed out the rest of the trim piece and re-painted it.. looks really nice in person .. like it came that way factory

i gotta know how to do it...i need to stick a scanner in there under my HU. by the way does it matter if it is DIN I, J, or E? i guess not if it will be custom anyway...

Im thinking of adding one of these to my car..its a double DIN

The AVN5495’s large capacity 30GB HDD holds the navigation database as well as the Music Juke feature which automatically stores up to 3,000 tracks from CDs to create a music library. With the on-board HDD, the AVN5495 is able to manage navigation as well as provide DVD-Video or CD entertainment at the same time without any interruption.
