New Maptech Faceplate
Here are a few pics of my Alpine stereo and Maptech faceplate:
From the drivers seat
Head on View
Flash on at night..."Trans Am" is clear during the day
If anyone is thinking about getting this kit, get it! It looks great in person, the head unit sits flush in the unit, and its a very simple install. The red matches great with the TA lighting, and its not too much to distract while driving. Let me know what you guys think!

www.humount.com sells them. You 2 guys have the same problem I do with that kit. The light is seeping through the top and bottom of the plate and causing the light stripes. There's a thread here somewhere talking about fixing that by painting the edges of the white plastic plate. Makes for a much cleaner install at night. Gotta find it again to fix mine too.

What Pillar guages do you have mounted? How did you get them Red like that. I really want to mount some guages but I can't find any that match the Pontiac interior lighting.

That's good to hear Lethl, sounds like an easy fix. Thanks! 99Dead, the gauges are the Auto Meter Sport Comp. They come with a little red transparent cover that fits over the bulb to change the color. Comes with a green cover too.

Here's a shot with the above done.
