Default Monsoon is now a tropical storm!

How long is the stock Monsoon system good for??? I just hit 100K on the car and the indash CD player AND the disc changer took a dump on me. They refuse to read CDs. Is there any way to fix them or is it just easier to replace the whole system? I also heard that now there is a relay that can be installed so that an aftermarket head unit can be installed and still use the existing Monsoon stuff? Any ideas on where I can get one of those, if they exist?

No relay is required to put in a aftermarket stereo, a typical GM wire harness you can get at any car stereo place, dash kit and antenna adaptor and your set. If you want to retain steering wheel controls a pac swi-x. My 02 Z28 was one of the easiest cars I ever put a aftermarket stereo in. Sounds much better too.
