Default theft loc bypass

ok before i get flamed i have checked the FAQ and i have tried the search.

In the FAQ there is a section on unlocking the theft loc, i called the number and entered the code given 202107 and the hit the * button like it said to do and i got the my code was invalled. what am i doing wrong? i am wanting to sale the headunit on ebay since i have gotten a new clarion unit and do not want to try to sale it with the LOC activated.

thanks in advance
