Default Factory alarm going nuts

Two nights ago my alarm on my 99 firehawk started going off for no reason. I turned it off and it just went off again. It was raining and thundering pretty bad so I thought it was that. Well, it is still doing the same thing. I have read where it could be the shock sensor but I have not had time to adjust it yet. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what it might be?

Yes, I experiencing the same deal w/ the alarm on my Z28. When the thunder storms roll-in and gets heavy on the thunderin part.

But, like you said, I look @ the sensor adjustment and see how that helps.

Good luck,
Don

The rain is causing it...unplug the shock sensor until it dries out a little. Mine did this once during a rainy period last year so I unplugged the shock sensor and it stopped. A few days later I plugged it back in and it's been fine ever since.
