installing an aftermarket tach on a 99 camaro?

Default installing a new tach on a 99 camaro

can anyone help me with getting a aftermarket tach installed on my 99? I thought i was tracing the lined correctly out of the computer, but apparently not.

why not just tap into the wire that comes out of the ecu?

3 wire hookup. + , - , and Pin #10 right out of the lower (red) connector on the PCM. It's a white wire that will be tapped and go to the tach signal on your tach/shift light.

Wire is coming from pin # 10 on top section of ecu, it's a white wire
