Default Key Fob question

I didn't get a fob with the T/A I bought. I know there only $36 from the dealer, but a friend of mine has a old one from his 98 T/A.

Can I reprogram that one, or do I need to get a new one?

you should be able to program the car to use that one.

yep.. it was worth it, i had an extra that he bought and we got it taken care of. Thanks for the idea it worked and saved him 30 bucks.
