Error message with CD changer
Our TA came with a trunk mounted CD changer, whenever we put a CD in and try to listen to it it comes up with E34, I know this is an error message, could it be the CD or the changer itself

Re: Error message with CD changer
When I got my T/A with Trunk mounted changer, I had the same problem. The CD's get loaded into the individual plastic trays up-side-down from what you would expect. You may have them in backwards. Try flipping them over, and see if that works.

Re: Error message with CD changer
E20 means the unit is dead
E35 means that the CD cartridge is empty.
E30 means that the CD label is wrong side up
E34 means that the changer door is open
E33 is a changer communications error
The changer door has two tabs on them to tell the changer when the door is open and closed. If one of them is broken off then you would get this error even it the door is shut. I had this issue and ordered a new door from Pioneer. If your car is under warrantee get it replaced.
