Need some help fooling this CD/ DVD player

Default Need some help fooling this CD/ DVD player

I just got the Jensen 7" motorized indash monitor. and it says i have to have this little wire connected to the parking break before i can watch DVD's or any other video. How can i get around this?
The part number for the head unit is VM9311TS if anyone needs to know.

If anyone lives close by and wants to help me install a new sterio in my T/A, that would be friggen awsome, i've never done it before. I'd like to do it tuesday. (26th)

try this....if i pull the ebrake on just enough to make the lil light turn on i can turn the car on without the lights coming on. im sure its attached to the same sensor. so just wire it up and then try what i said. see if it works
