Default so i decided to make a Double din opening in My camaro

Just thought id share some pics as people like to see how they turn out. Funny thing is, Im only going to be using my eclipse 6600 for another few weeks and im pulling it out. SO here are some pics after primer, but before texture coating. Ill post pics up tommorow after its done.

well, ive actually had my 6600 eclipse in there for about 8 months. What i did with the original bezel was I tried heat forming it and dremeled (SP?) out the sides. Im not new to fiberglass, marglass, body filler, and glazing putty. Im going to go out and find some more texture coating as I ran out on the center console fitting the laser jammer and dvd player.

Somebody needs to make some kits for this kind of stuff. There's obviously a demand for it on these cars. I could use a navigation feature myself. Portable is out of the question. It'd be another item I have to take down when I go some place.

So they do make kits. Awesome!! Who usually sells these kits?

You wouldn't happen to know where your friend got that kit for his Ford from would you? They may have a kit for Chevy's.

no they don't make a chevy kit that i am aware of (there might be a vette kit but it shouldn't fit our cars without any modifications). he seems to have incorporated the kit into his bezel. if you look at the 2nd picture in his link you will get an idea of what i am talking about. my friend purchased his ford kit at circuit city.
