Default JVC KD-AVX33 Install (HU swap) question

I am thinking of getting the JVC KD-AVX33 and I have a question about it. Would it sound good with the stock monsoon speakers and amp? Would it still have that same full sound like with the stock HU? And also, do I need the PAC-SWI-JACK for the steering wheel remote controls, would that work?

i would not say that the sound would improve. but it should not change. if anything it would probably be more adjustable depending on your unit.

Yes, you need the SWI-JACK. It's a hard wire as opposed to the IR one. That's what Crutchfield told me. I have one on the way.

I didn't order it from them though.

If I get mine in first, I'll let you know how it sounds with stock speakers.
