Default New system ready to install...

I ordered a Pioneer DEH-P980BT (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...159553,00.html) and a JL Audio 500/5 (http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_a...amp_id=256amp). I am going to completely rewire my car. 4 ga. power and ground wires, 10ga. speaker wire and Tsunami RCA cables. Picts to follow!

Sorry, I have MB Quart PCE 216 components in the front, MB Quart Mids in the sail panels, MB Quart PCE 214 in the rear hatch and last but certainly not least I have a stealth box with a Sound Splinter RLi 10" sub. The entire car is sound proofed with SecondSkin Audio sound deadening.

It's what's laying around in my garage. I had a 100' roll when I originally wired the original system, so it may be overkill but it's free!

Why not the older MB Quart amps and the sub?

oh alright -- yea that was my excuse too for using 12 awg on speakers -- I had a lot more of it than I did 16 or 14

The JL amp is much better than the MBQ amps, as well as the RL-i. Those RL-i subs are awesome little 10s, they're hard to beat. Sound Splinter makes great stuff.
