Idea for IAT to display in the rearview mirror temp LED I'm going to be replacing my rearview mirror with a GM one that displays the air temp. What I'm thinking is to have my IAT's display on the mirror instead of the outside air temp. I already have EFIlive scantool so I can log/view the IAT whenever, just thinking that the mirror would be easy to make sure my IATs stay optimal without having to have a laptop open.
I have a question though. I have never been able to watch a temp display in other GM vehicles long enough, so I'm not sure how fast the sensor updates and displays changes. My IATs will be fluctuating quite a bit and I'd like to see how well my intercooler works with a quick glance up. What do you think?
