I had something simlar the other day for the first time. I came out to the car after work and it had rained. Well I got in the car and everything started fine and I go to put the windows down and no go. Then i try to turn the radio on, no go. Then I see that the clock is dark and no lights on the radio...then turning out of the parking lot a minute later, everything turned on and has been fine. Sound similar to what you had happen?
(I dont know the cause just wanted to join and see if you hear anything relating to that)

both of these circuits are feed by the same wire going into the fuse box.
