Default What does "Steering wheel remote ready" mean?

Do I still need the universal PAC-SWIX, or the SWI JACK, it's for a JVC deck.

Thanks!
John

the "ready" means you wont have to get that crappy piece that uses the remote sensor to use steering wheel controls. there is a piece that will plug into the HU and wire into the car's controls
