my vote would have been for the type-x 10in or 12in....but im not sure if it meets the ohm resitence that you needed, but those things are awesome

I have a 12" JL Audio 12w3v2, which is a DVC sub and can be wired for 2 ohm use. Bought it over 2 years ago, still pounding away! Sealed enclusure, lots of bass from just 1 sub!

My stereo is almost 100% Kenwood (head unit, 2 amps, front components, rear coaxials), but I was talked into getting a JL as my sub, and am very happy with it. I don't have any experience with Kenwood subs, sorry.
