Not sure if anyone else has had this problem. I got a 2001 SS and the stock stereo will randomly cut off. Sometimes it stays off for several minutes before coming back on and sometimes it just cuts off for a few seconds. It's not weather or temperature dependent either. It happens in rain, shine, night, and day. And since the windows are apparently on the same circuit, they are also rendered useless when the radio cuts off. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you might need a new BCM. That's what was wrong with my car when this happened to me.
