Brake lights stay on

Brake lights stay on I woke up this morning to a dead battery. Didnt have cables so had to borrow a car and bought a battery. Got back and put it in and it started up and shut it off. Then I noticed that my brake lights are still on and they wont go off until I disconnect the battery. What is the problem ? What should I be checking ?

Figured it out, was a brake light switch under the dash. Just had take off the panel and push the pedal down and push the switch in further. Not really sure what keeps it in place but gonna go to the dealer and look at new switch or ask them.
