Default Starter and Ignition issue

Car won't start and all the fuses are good. Removed the power wire from the starter and had the wife turn the key to start it and checked the wire for power with a multimeter. There was no power to the wire. Since all the fuses were good what can cause this?

Well, got the car started! Ran a wire from the starter to the IGN fuse in the fuse panel inside the car. It started right up. Is there a fusible link somewhere in that power line or what could have caused it to go bad? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am more of a mechanical guy and really don't know jack about the electronic side of the car...yet!

Did you check the STRTR mini-fuse in the fuse block under the hood (junction block #2 on the left fenderwell)?

All the fuses in the junction boxes are good. Could somthing else be causing this?

Well the pink wire going down into the junction box for the IGN relay reads 12v when the key is turned and so does the large yellow wire. I see the large diameter purple wire that is the out wire to the starter. There is no voltage in this wire. Since there is no blown mini fuse or any other fuse can I assume maybe it is the relay? Other than starter and IGN relays do I need any of the others to function to start the car? I'm not planning on running it but want to know if it doesn't start that it isn't some other bad relay in the boxes.

Thanks

What would it mean if I started the car and the two inward bulbs in the headlights came on but extremely dim? I have disable my DRL's so I don't understand this at all. Then when I went to turn the headlights on all four bulbs came on but they were all extremely dim again except the passenger side bulb on the out side of the headlight. That one was really bright.

I have been having a similar problem with my Trans-am and have been wondering about my IGN relay as well. My car will not start, it will turn over but wont fire up, I've checked all my fuse's as well fuel pump psi, pass key system by purchasing a new 60$ key and still I cant get my car to run. I've had it start maybe 1 /15 try's and when it does fire up it starts no problem and stays running fine. I was wondering does your car even turn over when try to start it?
