Default Stereo Problems

Ok well I just bought an alpine cd player for my 01 firebird. Got the wires hooked up, but I cant find where to hook up for my antenna(where it goes up when I turn it on and down when it goes off). Also, I bought the dash kit and everything but the cd player slides forward out of it sometimes.(Im sure I did something obvious wrong)

And lastly how did you guys get your stereos to fit right with that little stub thing in the back that held the stock radio in?

Thanks guys!

What kind of car?
BTW, the pinouts are in the Monsoon FAQ sticky at the top of this section.

You can hook up the power antenna to the "external amp on" output of the aftermarket HU. Blue wire IIRC, maybe with a white stripe.

As far as that little stub goes... I cut mine off I figured it is in my way and I'm never putting the stock HU back in anyway.
