Default Steering Wheel controls

OK this is the problem that I have the lights went out on my controls, and I replace the bulbs with new ones. The bulbs still didn't turn on so I replaced the controls with new ones, and the new ones still don't light up. Is there a fuse that is just for the lights on the controls(doubtful)? What should I check for? I want to check the harness behind the airbag but I don't know how to remove the airbag.

Yes, there are two 1-amp fuses for the steering wheel controls - both are labeled STG WHL CNTRL. Fuse #3 is for the control operation and fuse #13 is for the illumination. Probably should have asked this question before taking it all apart.

.... I figured since the controls worked it couldn't been a fuse ... I was wrong it was the #13 fuse. All well at least now I have an extra set of controls. Thanks WhiteBird
